Banco - Banker.
Bankroll - Total financial balance of a player
Carte - A French word meaning cards to be dealt
Coup - A round of play in French
Croupier - Dealer in French
Down Card - A card that is down faced
Face Cards - Any card in the suit having a face value.
High Roller - Big bets which is waged by a player
House Edge - By paying less than the odds a player gain more.
Ladderman - It is a person, who looks after the game of Baccarat. The game involves four people out of them two dealers sitting side by side at a long table. There is a caller and a ladderman. The ladderman supervises the game and sorts out any possible disputes in the middle of such game.
Le Grande - Number 9 is termed as Le Grande in French
Mini-baccarat - It’s a game mainly played at a smaller table. The table resembles like a blackjack table.
Monkey - Number 10 is termed as monkey.
Natural - The first two cards having an 8 or a 9.
Palette - The wooden stick like thing to move the cards in the baccarat game, it mainly resembles like a wooden baton.
Punto - Player.
Shoe - It’s a wooden box usually made to keep the cards all for the baccarat game.
Shuffle Up - Dealer usually shuffles the cards in advance at the start of the game.
Standoff - A match drawn situation
VIP - A person, who comes up with bigger bets, is termed as Very Important Person.
Upcard - A card, which is up for display
